Rastry provides free, customizable overlays for your stream.

Available Overlays

How Overlays Work

All Rastry overlays are Browser Sources that you add to OBS:

  1. Get your unique overlay URL from rastry.com
  2. Add a Browser Source in OBS
  3. Paste the URL
  4. Position and resize as needed

All overlays are completely free to use!

General Setup

Adding to OBS

  1. Open OBS Studio
  2. In your scene, click + under Sources
  3. Select Browser
  4. Name it (e.g., "Music Overlay")
  5. Paste your overlay URL
  6. Set width/height as recommended
  7. Click OK

Each overlay generates a unique token URL for security. Copy it from the configuration page!

Your personal overlay URL will look like:

https://www.rastry.com/overlay/music/spotify/display?token=YOUR_UNIQUE_TOKEN

Troubleshooting

Overlay Not Loading

  1. Check URL is correct
  2. Verify you're logged in to rastry.com
  3. Refresh the browser source (right-click → Refresh)

Overlay Looks Wrong

  1. Check width/height settings
  2. Try different zoom levels
  3. Clear browser cache in OBS

Performance Issues

  1. Enable "Shutdown source when not visible"
  2. Lower FPS to 30
  3. Reduce overlay resolution
